Holiday Dog Biscuits:

Don't forget your pup when whipping up your holiday treats this year.
Follow the steps below for a cheery pooch.

What you will need

DIY bow tie for a Dapper Dog
  • 1 1/2 cups of warm water
  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1/3 cup of margarine
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon
  • 3/4 cup of powdered milk
  • 3/4 cup of corn meal
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 3 cups of whole wheat flour

In large mixing bowl, pour hot water over oats, margarine and bouillon. Let stand for five minutes. Stir in powdered milk cornmeal and egg. Slowly stir in the flour to form a stiff bowl. Add more flour if needed.

Turn dough out onto a floured work surface and knead three to five minutes.
Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness.

Cut into desired shapes and place on a greased baking sheet.
Serving instructions: Feed one as a treat.

Bake for approximately 15 minutes and then cool on a rack before serving.
